Why do I still need to believe in Almighty God so as to be saved since I believe in the Lord Jesus?

The answer from Almighty God’s word:

“Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to take on the sins of man as the sin offering, but also required God to do greater work to completely rid man of his disposition, which has been corrupted by Satan. And so, after man was forgiven his sins, God has returned to flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment, and this work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and shall gain the truth, the way, and the life.

Why do you say that I cannot enter the kingdom of heaven by believing this way?

Now I have been justified by faith, so I believe that I can enter the kingdom of heaven. Why do you say that I cannot enter it by believing this way?

“Before God, is it that easy to be made perfect into a holy one, or a righteous person? It is a truism that ‘there are no righteous upon this earth, the righteous are not in this world.’ When you come before God, consider what you’re wearing, consider your every word and action, all of your thoughts and ideas, and even the dreams that you dream every day—they are all for your own sake. Is this not the true state of affairs? ‘Righteousness’ does not mean giving alms, it does not mean loving your neighbor as yourself, and it does not mean not fighting, arguing, robbing, or stealing.

Why is such a statement not right?

 Some people say, “As long as we pursue to be faithful to the Lord Jesus’ way and practice according to the Lord’s requirements, being humble and patient, loving our enemies, bearing the cross, subduing our body and working for the Lord, preaching the gospel and testifying to Him, we will be able to attain holiness.” Why is such a statement not right?

“The sins of man were forgiven through God incarnate, but it does not mean that man has no sin within him. The sins of man could be forgiven through the sin offering, but man has been unable to resolve the issue of just how he can no longer sin and how his sinful nature can be cast away completely and be transformed.

Is it true that we will never die and will receive the eternal life by believing in Almighty God?

Man's stature, knowledge, love, and loyalty, obedience, and all that man sees have come from judgment by the word. Your faith stands because of His word. Through this man sees God's amazing work. There is much beyond man's grasp: great mysteries and wonders all around. And therefore many have submitted. None surpass the judgment of His word, and no darkness prevails over His authority. Man submits because of His incarnation, His authority, and judgment from His word.

Some people have believed in the Lord Jesus for many years, worked hard for Him and suffered a lot. Can’t they be saved and enter into the kingdom of heaven if they do not accept Almighty God’s work in the last days?

“What God wants are people who follow His footsteps. No matter how wonderful and pure what you understood before is, God does not want it, and if you are unable to put aside such things, then they will be a tremendous obstacle to your entry in the future. All those who are able to follow the present light of the Holy Spirit are blessed. The people of ages past also followed the footsteps of God, yet they could not follow until today; this is the blessing of the people of the last days. Those who can follow the present work of the Holy Spirit, and who are able to follow the footsteps of God, such that they follow God wherever He leads them—these are people who are blessed by God.  We believe that when the Lord comes again, man’s body will be transformed into a holy body instantly. Why does God still need to do the work of judgment and chastisement?

“In His final work of concluding the age, God’s disposition is one of chastisement and judgment, which reveals all that is unrighteous, and publicly judges all peoples, and perfects those who truly love Him. Only a disposition such as this can bring the age to an end. The last days have already arrived. All things will be classed according to kind, and will be divided into different categories based on their nature. This is the time in which God reveals the end and the destination of man. If man does not undergo chastisement and judgment, then there will be no way of revealing the disobedience and unrighteousness of man. Only through chastisement and judgment can the end of all things be revealed. Man only shows his true colors when he is chastised and judged. Evil shall return to evil, good shall return to good, and man shall be classified according to kind. Through chastisement and judgment, the end of all things shall be revealed, so that the evil shall be punished and the good shall be rewarded, and all people shall become subject under the dominion of God. All the work requires righteous chastisement and judgment to be achieved. Because man’s corruption has reached its peak and his disobedience has been too serious, only God’s righteous disposition, which is principally one of chastisement and judgment, and is revealed during the last days, can fully transform and complete man. Only this disposition can expose evil and thus severely punish all the unrighteous.”
