    Most followers of the Lord Jesus Christ hear about the Eastern Lightning from their pastors, elders, or preachers, but in actuality no one knows where the Eastern Lightning came from. When it comes to the origin of the Eastern Lightning, everyone has their own opinion: Some people believe it is nothing more than a new denomination in Christianity, others decry it as “heresy” or an “evil cult.” People have these absurd ideas because they don’t know the work of God.

    God’s work is forever moving forward. Man doesn’t recognize the principle that God’s work is always new and never old, nor do they understand the purpose of God’s work is to save man, and what’s more, man has an arrogant and headstrong satanic disposition. That’s why each time God begins new work He will always be met with blasphemy, persecution, and accusations from the religious world that stubbornly clings to the old ways. As for those who accept God’s new work and spread the true way, they are heaped with all manner of groundless accusations and foul names. The New Testament of the Bible recorded this truth: In order to save man from the risk of being punished for not being able to keep the law, God became flesh and began the work of redemption in the Age of Grace. At that time, when the Lord Jesus was doing His work in Judea performing many miracles—healing the sick and driving out demons—He bestowed upon the people bountiful graces and He expressed many truths, doing enough to prove that He was truly and completely God Himself, that He was the Messiah as foretold.

No matter how you interpret the letter of God’s word it is still the imagination and way of thinking of man and is useless! How should God’s word be interpreted? How should God’s word be understood? The key to understanding God’s word is to understand His word from within His word. Whenever God speaks He certainly does not speak in mere generalities. It is written that the Bible is God-breathed. Why do you say that the Bible is not all God’s words?

How can we ascertain that Almighty God is the returned Jesus?

At the very least, the work He does can fully represent the Spirit of God, and from such work it can be seen that the Spirit of God is within Him. As the work done by the incarnate God was mainly to usher in a new age, lead new work, and open up new circumstances, these few conditions alone are sufficient to establish that He is God Himself. …”

 Why is it that the church of Almighty God has become more and more prosperous while the churches of the Age of Grace are all so desolate?

“The clearest expression of the Holy Spirit’s work is in embracing the here and now, not clinging to the past. Those who have not kept up with the work of today, and who have become separated from the practice of today, are those who oppose and do not accept the work of the Holy Spirit. Such people defy the present work of God. Though they hold onto the light of the past, this does not mean it is possible to deny that they do not know the work of the Holy Spirit. …

 It is written, “He shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” When the Lord comes back, He should come on the white cloud. How can He be incarnated again?

“During the time God is doing the work of salvation, He will do all He can to save all those who can be saved and will not cast off any one of them, because the purpose of His work is to save man. All those who are not transformed in their disposition and all those who fail to become completely obedient to God while God is saving man are the ones to be punished.

You say that the Lord Jesus has already come, but we do not believe. We’ve believed in the Lord for many years and been working hard for Him. When He comes, He shall first give us revelation. But we haven’t received it, which proves the Lord has not come yet. Can it be wrong to believe so?

The Lord Jesus once promised us, “That whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” How will God fulfill this word?

“The 6,000 years of work of God’s management are divided into three stages: the Age of Law, the Age of Grace, and the Age of Kingdom. These three stages of work are all for the sake of mankind’s salvation, which is to say, they are for the salvation of a mankind that has been severely corrupted by Satan. At the same time, however, they are also so that God may do battle with Satan. Thus, just as the work of salvation is divided into three stages, so the battle with Satan is also divided into three stages, and these two aspects of God’s work are conducted simultaneously.

 The truth Almighty God expresses is indeed much higher than that of the Age of Grace. How can you prove that the work in the last days and the work in the Age of Grace are done by one God?

“After the work of Jehovah, Jesus became flesh to do His work amongst man. His work was not carried out in isolation, but built upon the work of Jehovah. It was work for a new age after God had concluded the Age of Law. We believe that the Lord’s precious blood has already cleansed us and we have been sanctified and no longer belong to sin, so there is no need for us to receive the work of purification. Why is such a saying not right?

A sinner such as you, who has just been redeemed, and has not been changed, or been perfected by God, can you be after God’s heart?
