VIII Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible—–Question 4

VIII Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible—–Question 4

Question 4: You say the book The Word Appears in the Flesh is God’s new word. But Revelation clearly says, “For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book …” (Revelation 22:18). Aren’t you adding to the Bible?

Bible
he Inside Story of the Bible—4
Answer: For the verse you just mentioned, you think that we are adding to the Bible. So, let’s have a discussion about this issue. Brothers and sisters, at that time what John said was that if any man shall add to this “prophecy,” but not if any man shall add to the “Bible.” Besides, when John said this, the New Testament didn’t exist. The New Testament came into being after 300 A.D. Revelation was recorded about 90 A.D. after John saw the vision on the island of Patmos.

VIII Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible

Question 3: The Lord Jesus personally said that the Bible testified of Him. So, we must believe in the Lord according to the Bible. The Bible is the only path for us to know the Lord.

Answer: Let’s see whether we can really know the Lord according to the Bible. This question is answered in Almighty God’s word. Almighty God tells us, “The Jews of the time all read from the Old Testament and knew of Isaiah’s prophecy that a male infant would be born in a manger. Why then, with this knowledge, did they still persecute Jesus? Is this not because of their rebellious nature and ignorance of the work of the Holy Spirit? At that time, the Pharisees believed that the work of Jesus was unlike what they knew of the prophesied male infant; man of today rejects God because the work of the incarnate God does not conform to the Bible. Is not the substance of their rebelliousness against God one and the same? …

the Bible and Gospel
What you ought to do is acceptance of, without the need for further substantiation from the Bible, any work so long as it is that of the Holy Spirit, for you believe in God to follow God, not to investigate Him.

Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible—–Question 2

Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible—–Question 2

Question 2: The truths in the Bible are already perfect. In believing in God, we have the Bible, and that’s enough. We don’t need the new word at all.

Bible
About the Inside Story of the Bible
Answer: What the Bible records is limited. The Old Testament only records the work of Jehovah God, and the New Testament only records the work of the Lord Jesus. The Bible only prophesies God’s work in the last days, but doesn’t record the details, because in the last days God does the work of judgment, which is a new work outside the Bible. God is the expresser of the truth, and even more is the Ruler of all things. His richness is unfailing and inexhaustible, and He is unfathomable to any created being. So, the contents of the Bible alone can’t make clear all God’s deeds at all. Almighty God tells us, “All that is recorded within the Bible is limited and unable to represent all the work of God. The Four Gospels have fewer than one hundred chapters altogether in which are written a finite number of happenings, such as Jesus cursing the fig tree, Peter’s three denials of the Lord, Jesus appearing to the disciples following His crucifixion and resurrection, teaching about fasting, teaching about prayer, teaching about divorce, the birth and genealogy of Jesus, Jesus’ appointment of the disciples, and so forth.

VIII Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible—–Question 1

VIII Questions and Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible

Question 1: I’ve studied the Bible for more than twenty years. I’m sure that outside the Bible there is no God’s word. All God’s word is in the Bible. Any belief against or beyond the Bible is a heresy and is a fallacy.

Answer: Does the saying “outside the Bible there is no God’s word and any belief beyond the Bible is a heresy,” accord with the fact or not? All those who are familiar with the Bible know that in the compilation of the Bible, because of the compilers’ disagreement and omission, some of God’s words conveyed through the prophets were not included in the Old Testament. This is a generally acknowledged fact.
Bible
Answers About the Inside Story of the Bible
How can we say that outside the Bible there are no God’s work and word? Aren’t those omitted prophecies of the prophets God’s words? The Lord Jesus said more words than those in the New Testament. In fact, most of His words are not recorded in the Bible. The Lord Jesus had worked for three and a half years, and He said countless words and gave many sermons. However, all of the Lord’s words recorded in the Four Gospels in the New Testament merely amount to His words in several hours. Compared with the Lord Jesus’ work and preaching in the three and a half years, that’s only a drop in the ocean. As John said, “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written” (John 21:25). This proves that not all of the Lord Jesus’ work and word are recorded in the New Testament. Thus, the saying “outside the Bible there are no God’s work and word” doesn’t accord with the fact. We should also know that whether the Old Testament or the New Testament, it came into being from man’s record after God finished one stage of His work. The Bible at the very beginning was only the Old Testament. All of the Lord Jesus’ work and word went beyond the Old Testament. If according to “any belief beyond the Bible is a heresy,” won’t we condemn the Lord Jesus? Brothers and sisters, from these facts we can see the saying “outside the Bible there are no God’s work and word and any belief beyond the Bible is a heresy” is groundless.

Ⅶ Questions and Answers About the Name of God—–Question 2

Ⅶ Questions and Answers About the Name of God—–Question 2

Question 2: God’s name in each age doesn’t represent God in His entirety, then what does God’s name in each age mean?

God
the Truth About the Name of God
Answer: This question is very important. Today Almighty God has given us the answer to this question. Almighty God says, “‘Jehovah’ is the name that I took during My work in Israel, and it means the God of the Israelites (God’s chosen people) who can take pity on man, curse man, and guide the life of man. It means the God who possesses great power and is full of wisdom.

Questions and Answers About the Name of God—–Question 1

Questions and Answers About the Name of God—–Question 1

Ⅶ Questions and Answers About the Name of God

Question 1: It’s written right there in the Bible: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). So the name of the Lord doesn’t change! But you say that the name of Jesus will change in the last days. How do you explain it?

God
the Name of God
Answer: Brothers and sisters, the Bible says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). This means that God’s disposition and God’s substance are immutable. It doesn’t mean that God’s name will never change. Look with us at the words of Almighty God.
Almighty God says, “There are those who say that God is immutable. That is correct, but it refers to the immutability of God’s disposition and substance. Changes in His name and work do not prove that His substance has altered; in other words, God will always be God, and this will never change. If you say that the work of God always stays the same, then would He be able to finish His six-thousand-year management plan? You merely know that God is forever unchanging, but do you know that God is always new and never old? If the work of God never changed, then could He have brought mankind to today? If God is immutable, then why is it that He has already done the work of two ages? … the words ‘God is always new and never old’ are in reference to His work, and the words ‘God is immutable’ are in regard to what God inherently has and is. Regardless, you cannot define the six-thousand-year work in one point, or portray it with mere static words. Such is the stupidity of man. God is not as simple as man imagines, and His work will not stop in one age. Jehovah, for example, will not always stand for the name of God; God also does His work under the name of Jesus, which is a symbol of how God’s work is always progressing forward.

Classic Questions and Answers on the Gospel of the Kingdom Selections—-Question 9

Classic Questions and Answers on the Gospel of the Kingdom Selections—-Question 9

Question 9: If we accept Almighty God, will we enter the kingdom of heaven?

Answer: To answer this,  God’s words make it clear. Let’s first look at what God says about it.
“The return of Jesus is a great salvation for those who are capable of accepting the truth, but for those who are unable to accept the truth it is a sign of condemnation. You should choose your own path, and should not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and reject the truth. You should not be an ignorant and arrogant person, but someone who obeys the guidance of the Holy Spirit and longs for and seeks the truth; only in this way will you benefit” (“When You Behold the Spiritual Body of Jesus Will Be When God Has Made Anew Heaven and Earth” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
God
If we accept Almighty God, will we enter the kingdom of heaven?
I will let all who follow Me know this fact: Those who cannot fully accept My words, those who cannot practice My words, those who cannot find a purpose in My words, and those who cannot receive salvation because of My words, are those who have been condemned by My words and, moreover, have lost My salvation, and My rod shall never stray from them” (“You Ought to Consider Your Deeds” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Classic Questions and Answers on the Gospel of the Kingdom Selections—-Question 8

Classic Questions and Answers on the Gospel of the Kingdom Selections—-Question 8

kingdom
being taken into the kingdom of heaven

Question 8: For those long-time believers who spend their lifetime for the Lord, if they reject Almighty God’s work of the last days, they still won’t be taken into the kingdom of heaven?

Answer: About this question, Almighty God has given us a clear answer. Almighty God says, “If you do not seek the way of life provided by Christ of the last days, then you shall never gain the approval of Jesus, and shall never be qualified to enter the gate of the kingdom of heaven, for you are both a puppet and prisoner of history. Those who are controlled by regulations, by letters, and shackled by history will never be able to gain life, and will never be able to gain the perpetual way of life. That is because all they have is turbid water that has lain stagnant for thousands of years, instead of the water of life that flows from the throne.
Those who are not supplied with the water of life will forever remain corpses, playthings of Satan, and sons of hell. How, then, can they behold God? If you only try to hold on to the past, only try to keep things as they are by standing still, and do not try to change the status quo and discard history, then will you not always be against God? The steps of God’s work are vast and mighty, like surging waves and rolling thunders—yet you sit and passively await destruction, sticking to your folly and doing nothing. In this way, how can you be considered someone who follows in the footsteps of the Lamb? How can you justify the God that you hold on to as a God who is always new and never old? And how can the words of your yellowed books carry you across the threshold of the new age? How can they lead you to seek the steps of God’s work? And how can they take you up to heaven? What you hold in your hands is the letters that can provide but temporary solace, not the truths that are capable of giving life. The scriptures you read are that which can only enrich your tongue, not words of wisdom that can help you know human life, much less the ways that can lead you to perfection. Does this discrepancy not give you cause for reflection? Does it not allow you to understand the mysteries contained within? Are you capable of delivering yourself to heaven to meet God on your own? Without the coming of God, can you take yourself into heaven to enjoy family happiness with God? Are you still dreaming now? I suggest, then, that you stop dreaming, and look at who is working now, at who is now carrying out the work of saving man during the last days. If you do not, you shall never gain the truth, and shall never gain life.
Those who wish to gain life without relying on the truth spoken by Christ are the most ridiculous people on earth, and those who do not accept the way of life brought by Christ are lost in fantasy. And so I say that the people who do not accept Christ of the last days shall forever be despised by God. Christ is man’s gateway to the kingdom during the last days, which none may bypass. None may be perfected by God except through Christ. You believe in God, and so you must accept His words and obey His way. You must not just think of gaining blessings without receiving the truth, or accepting the provision of life. Christ comes during the last days so that all those who truly believe in Him may be provided with life. His work is for the sake of concluding the old age and entering the new one, and is the path that must be taken by all those who would enter the new age. If you are incapable of acknowledging Him, and instead condemn, blaspheme or even persecute Him, then you are bound to burn for eternity, and shall never enter the kingdom of God” (“Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
Christ of the last days, Almighty God, has brought mankind the real way of eternal life. Almighty God is the Christ who appears in the last days, and He is man’s gateway to the kingdom of heaven, which no one can bypass. Only if we accept the truth expressed by Almighty God can we gain life, do God’s will and be brought into the kingdom of heaven, and receive God’s salvation of the last days. Just like what’s written in 1 Peter, “Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:5).
As believers for many years, we’ve longed to enter the kingdom of heaven. Although we know the Lord Jesus said only those who do the will of the heavenly Father can enter the kingdom of heaven, none of us knew the true meaning. Only the truth expressed by Christ of the last days—Almighty God shows us the way to enter the kingdom of heaven, reveals to us the heavenly Father’s will, and uncovers all of the mysteries. So we understand many truths and have a more practical and accurate goal of pursuit. Brothers and sisters, Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus. All the words of Almighty God are the truth, the Holy Spirit’s expression, God’s voice. We are so honored to receive the way of eternal life brought by Almighty God. This is God’s great exaltation and blessing for us! We must never miss out on such an opportunity of a lifetime.

Question 7: If we reject Almighty God’s work of judgment, can we become someone who does the heavenly Father’s will and enter the kingdom of heaven?

Answer: If we only accept the Lord Jesus’ redemptive work in the Age of Grace, but reject Almighty God’s work of judgment and chastisement in the last days, then we can never free from sin and become someone who does heavenly Father’s will and enters God’s kingdom. This is beyond doubt! Because Jesus’ work in the Age of Grace was redemption, He only gave man the way of repentance according to the stature of people at that time, and let them understand some apparent truths and ways to practice. For example, confessing and repenting, bearing the cross, being patient and humble, sharing love, fasting, and baptizing.

Question 6: You said that for man to break free from sin and become

holy, he must accept God’s judgment of the last days. Then how does God judge and purify man in the last days? For many years I’ve often wondered. What a joy to be without sin. Then life wouldn’t be painful!

Answer: As to how Almighty God judges and purifies man in the last days, let’s read Almighty God’s word first! Almighty God says, “when God becomes flesh this time, His work is to express His disposition, primarily through chastisement and judgment. Using this as the foundation, He brings more truth to man, shows more ways of practice, and so achieves His objective of conquering man and saving man from his corrupt disposition. This is what lies behind the work of God in the Age of Kingdom” (Preface to The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Questions and Answers About Salvation and Final Salvation—–Question 5

Salvation and Final Salvation

VI Questions and Answers About Salvation and Final Salvation

Question 5: You say only by accepting God’s work of judgment in the last days can man’s corrupt satanic disposition be transformed. We practice patience and humility as required by the Lord, we love our enemy, bear our cross, subdue our body, abandon the secular world, work and preach for the Lord, and so on. Aren’t they all our changes? Can’t they be seen as the credentials for our entry into the kingdom of heaven? I believe only if we continue our pursuit like this can we become holy and enter into the kingdom of heaven.
kingdom
enter into kingdom of heaven
Answer: Man can love their enemy, bear their cross, subdue their body, and preach the Lord’s gospel, which are all man’s good deeds after their believing in the Lord and show that they have a true heart toward the Lord. Such good deeds are right in man’s eyes, and seemingly they are in accordance with the God’s word, but they don’t indicate that men are practicing God’s word and doing God’s will, much less indicate that they have cast off their sinful nature and become holy. We cannot only judge a person’s good deeds outwardly, but should discern his intentions behind them.
If one’s intention is for obeying God, loving God, and satisfying God, such good deeds are practicing the truth and doing God’s will. If one does good deeds only for receiving blessings, the crown, and rewards, not for loving God, such good deeds are not doing God’s will, but are hypocritical performances. If good deeds mean that one has done God’s will and become holy, then why is he still able to commit sins and resist God often?

I Was Saved by Almighty God

Zhang Min

Luoyang City, Henan Province

I was formerly a leader of the Independent Church, in charge of more than a dozen churches, and had the final say on all the affairs of the churches. By my abilities to
God

preach, compose songs, heal the sick, and drive out demons, I often showed myself off. So I became the “most able person” and the “toast” of the churches, exalted and looked up to by all the brothers and sisters, and became an idol in their hearts. They all thought highly of me and adored me. As a result, I became all the more self-right and arrogant. When I said “Yes,” none of them ever dared to say “No.” Whenever I went out to visit the churches or preach the gospel,
a church member would be assigned to carry my book bag and luggage. Whichever church I went to visit, the brothers and sisters there would travel a long distance to pick me up and see me off. I kept all the brothers and sisters in the churches under strict control. Without my permission, no one should overstep the mark (that is, go out to seek the true way). It was not until I had accepted God’s work of the last days that I came to realize that I was in no sense one who led the churches but a leading demon that resisted the work of God.

I immediately called in four young brothers, and we impersonated the local village cadres and headed swiftly toward the house of that believer on our motorcycles. When we were about 200 meters away from his house, we switched off the engines, and walked up to the house quietly.
